Learning From Past Classes

Looking at past classes’ web pages, I am able to get a better understanding of what I should and should not do for my final portfolio. I am able to see things as a spectator that were harder to notice as the “author” or “artist”. I noticed do not like when all of the tabs do not fit at the top of the page and the ones left out go into a tab called “More”. I find it easier to navigate when they are all displayed, and to solve this one could choose to use subpages. Though I had not thought of it, it is also definitely better to post every document everything as direct text instead of posting the word documents. Besides being more aesthetically pleasing, it makes the content a lot more accessible to the viewer, since it offers the content in less steps. It also makes it more engaging when pictures are included with the writings, as it gives insight into what the viewer will read and give him/her another mode to connect to the message. Finally, I disliked how some people had links of random assignments in no specific order or categories. After viewing all of those webpages and forming these opinions, I will try to modify my Wix page to make it as good as possible.
